Meet the Haydenettes’ Go-To RAD Tools

Early practices. Long travel days. Time back on the ice. The Haydenettes share the RAD tools they reach for along the way.

The Haydenettes are 33-time U.S. Synchronized Skating national champions and silver medalists at the 2026 ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships. That’s a lot to celebrate. We’re proud to support this team and the work that happens behind every performance.

Behind those accomplishments are early starts, long travel days, and teammates showing up for each other. Here’s a look at the tools they make room for along the way.

Our partnership includes a donation and access to the RAD Mobility App. Here, the athletes take the mic to share their own favorites, where they use them, and why they keep them close.

For this athlete, the Neuro Ball earns its spot by being easy to pack. She says she uses it on her glutes and feet, making one small tool part of more than one moment in her routine.

The next pick is straightforward: the blue RAD Roller, chosen for attention to tight calves. It’s a specific use for a familiar tool, shared directly by the athlete who reaches for it.

For another teammate, versatility is the reason to choose the Helix. She names two areas she uses it on: her back and hamstrings.

The Helix is a contoured foam roller measuring 16 inches long and 3 inches in diameter. It brings a longer rolling surface to the mix alongside the smaller ball-style tools.

    From the team’s product-favorites video

The final athlete uses the RAD Roller on her back, glutes, and legs before skating. But the moment she singles out is after travel, when she’s preparing to return to the ice.

At 4.9 inches long, the Roller is easy to tuck into a bag. Here, the same tool appears in a different part of an athlete’s routine: the transition from travel to skating.

    Before the first lap

Why warming up matters to the Haydenettes

On cold New England mornings, some skaters are up at 5:00 a.m. In this introduction, the team explains why preparing off the ice is part of showing up ready to skate.

Early mornings. Big moves. Warm up first.

“Warm up is so important before we get on the ice.”

    From the Haydenettes’ introduction video

Their preparation includes laps, running, dynamic warm-ups, rollers, and stretching. With splits, spins, and needles in their skating, the athletes describe getting warm as an important part of preparing for those positions.

They also talk about the bigger picture: looking after themselves throughout their skating careers and beyond.
